Join our director, Dr Michael Stewart, for a walk in Brontë Country and be inspired by the same landscape that inspired Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë to write their classic works of fiction and poetry. Setting off in the centre of Haworth, the walk will take you through some of the iconic areas of this most famous of literary landscapes, before returning to our writing centre for a writing workshop.
There’ll be readings and discussions about the landscape which inspired the Brontës more than 200 years ago along the way. The walk is open to writers of all styles, abilities and experience.
Note: the walk will be fairly strenuous, with some hills and gradients to navigate, and rocky uneven paths. Please wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for all weathers.
