Do you want to dip your toe into the world of Creative Writing? Have you ever felt like writing a novel, a biography, a script, short story or poem but don’t know where to start? Have you already written something but not finished it or are not happy with the end result?

These Tuesday night taster sessions are here to equip you with the essential skills and techniques required to write beautiful and compelling narratives that live long in the minds of the reader, listener or viewer. Each session lasts two hours and each one covers a key creative writing specialism. We will look at the show/tell balance and how to write immersive scenes and memorable images; how to write cracking dialogue that gives us fresh insight into character; write compelling characters the reader falls in love with; how to structure your writing so that the reader can’t put it down; and develop your voice along the way. Each session can be taken in isolation for only £25 a session.
